How did you first learn about Goose & Gander?

I used to work with Maz (one of the founders of G&G) a few years ago at a retail job and learnt about it through that! I also had friends that had previously worked for them and heard great things!

Before working at Goose & Gander, what was the most unusual or interesting job you've had?

Before G&G I always worked in part time jobs. I worked painting furniture, selling jewellery, in a painting pottery cafe and I was a student ambassador at uni. I also completed a months work placement at Burberry in London, working on fabrics and trims.

What and where did you study?

I studied Textile Design at Falmouth University for 3 years where I specialised in woven textiles. I learnt embroidery, print, design, photoshop and other digital skills. I also worked with digital embroidery machines much like the ones we have at G&G which really helped when I first started.

What was your dream job growing up?

I always wanted to do something either in the fashion industry or working with fabrics, I've always had a passion for making and designing and that lead me to go to uni to pursue that further.

What 3 words to describe G&G?

Friendly, fun, exciting.

What are your 3 favourite garms from G&G?

The new natural Unisex Sepia Tee, Unisex Goose Sweat in a big size so its nice and oversized and the GGLTD 1/4 Zip Fleece.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Bristol and am still based here. I lived in Falmouth, Cornwall for 3 years by the sea which a loved!

What do you get up to outside of work?

I've become obsessed with crochet since the lockdown and always have something on the go, otherwise I love to go surfing when possible and socialising with friends.
