This last weekend, we welcomed over 70 of our community members, and influencers to The Wave in Bristol to celebrate the launch of our new collaboration with longtime friends of the brand, Lucie Donlan & Luke Mabbott.
We were blessed with the sunshine, making the relaxed atmosphere even more uplifting. A live DJ soundtracked the day, while guests made the most of the space — from chill-out zones and ping pong tables to recycled jewellery making— creating a laid-back, festival-like feel that encouraged connection and community.
The focus of the event was of course the surfing, we had slots for all abilities, giving people a chance to flex their expertise or learn a new skill. Lucie & Luke of course took to the waves, and even one of our founders had a go.
For many, it was a truly memorable day. One standout moment saw a mother and daughter from the Goose & Gander community take to the water together, with the mother initially feeling apprehensive at the start, but by the end, she was laughing and confident, having stepped outside her comfort zone.
It was great to see so many of our community members get involved on such a special day for Goose & Gander, with guests getting a chance to chat to Lucie & Luke, and see the collection up close.
The event was a reflection of the collection itself - a seamless blend of coastal lifestyle, personal style and community. Hosting it at The Wave felt like a natural fit, creating a space where guests could fully immerse themselves in the surf-inspired world that influenced the collection.

For us at Goose & Gander, the event was about more than just a launch — it was an opportunity to give back to the community that continues to support our journey. The result was a hugely successful day filled with positive energy, genuine connection and unforgettable experiences — setting the tone for what is already shaping up to be one of Goose & Gander’s most exciting launches to date.
