Assistant Fashion Designer

An exciting opportunity to break into the fashion industry and join a fast growing online clothing brand as an assistant fashion designer.

 

This role incorporates graphic deign and garment design.

• Coming up with logos/designs
• Custom garment design
• Creating designs / Creating garment tech pack
• Research new and existing decoration methods to suit artwork/design
• Research colours & fabrics
• Research and communicate with suppliers
• Communication with our in-house production team
• Sampling
• Using Photoshop & Illustrator
• Bringing ideas to the creative team
• Monitoring the collection journey from start to finish

 

Applicant must have / be:

• Highly organised
• Creative mindset
• Good understanding of garment construction and fabric knowledge
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy work load
• Strong initiative
• Tech Savvy

Job types: Full time, temporary, permanent.
